This digital angle rule is an invaluable device that is both a workshop rule and an angle gauge that is perfect for laying out, angle measurement and machine or power tool setup. You can measure inside and outside angles over a full 360° in 0.1° increments. The locking function allows the precise transfer of angles while the readout can also be zeroed at any position to allow relative measurements. When the blades are opened the digital display turns on and it will automatically switch off after 6 minutes of inactivity to prolong the 200 hour battery life.

The blades are made from corrosion resistant stainless steel which are guaranteed to be long lasting and durable. They have been laser etched with both metric and imperial graduations which are very easy to read, even in dimly lit rooms. The scales run from 0mm to 400mm in 1mm increments and from 0" to 7" in 1/32" graduations.

The opened length of the rule is 400mm with the digital readout being accurate to &plusmn0.1°. This is an extremely versatile measuring tool that can be used all around the workshop. Supplied with a 3V CR2032 lithium ion battery. ©

Nice tool for setting out work and calibrating circular saws / mitre saws etc. Well constructed, easy to use and seem accurate. Recommended.

I really like these protractors but I think they a...

I really like these protractors but I think they are really missing a feature here. It would really be helpful if the zero feature toggled between setting the display to 0° or 90°. That way you could quickly and easily transfer an angle to a chop saw because these saws 0° is across the length of material. If you could zero the angle to 90° with the jaws closed when you opened them the angle displayed would be the same as that needed on the chop saw bed.

Great quality and seems pretty accurate, the best bit for me is there is no protective oil on it to prevent it from rusting like some tools/company's use which then becomes a nightmare to remove. I'd love to see another sales option for this angle rule which gave the option for a protective cover/sleeve for it, this i would pay slightly more for it but happy all round with the product itself.
