These magnetic dust hose machine couplings connect to the dust outlets of workshop machinery, and allow for the quick, tool free connection of 63mm dust hose equipped with a magnetic hose connector. For workshops without a dedicated dust collection system, these connectors provide a convenient way of moving your dust collectors’ hose from machine to machine in seconds.
Constructed from a strong, impact resistant ABS plastic, each machine coupling features a steel ring set into the outside face. Once pressed against the rare earth magnets of a mating connector, they snap together securely, forming an airtight seal strong enough to withstand the weight of the connected dust hose.
Measuring 126mm in overall length, each coupling provides substantial depth and surface contact with either a flexible cuff connector or small length of 63mm dust hose, secured in place using the supplied jubilee hose clamp. The smooth internal bore ensures optimum air flow is maintained to allow the smooth passage of dust. ©

Really great bit of kit, makes it so easy to swap hose from machine to machine in a small workshop!
Saves an awful lot of hassle when considering the time and effort to make your own. Work perfectly, appear robust enough to last a good long time and remove so much of the hassle of connecting machines and swapping to vacuum attachments etc. Have now bought a good few and everything now swappable.

I am really hoping these will make life simpler working in a small space. In the past I've had problems trying to get the large 4" hose from my dust extractor to the individual machines - space is small and the hose has a mind of its own. The idea with this kit was to make it easy to connect and disconnect the main hose from different machines without needing to move the vac so much. The magnetic seal works great, and everything seems of good quality. However, the joints are of the same diameter as the output ports - so you actually need some additional wire/connector of 63mm to connect the adaptors to. And then you need more clips etc. For my solution this actually improves things - because I can have a short length of 63mm hose connected to the machine and terminating in one of these - which further reduces the flexibility required of the 4" hose. But it would have been good if this connector issue was more obvious in the description. But now all my tools have cute little noses attached to them - see two examples below!
As a wood turner, this dust hose kit is excellent, allowing quick and easy change from dust hood to floor sweeping in the workshop, without the need for quick release clips.
