FULL DESCRIPTION
Achieve an exceptional finish on a wide range of materials with this premium set of three table saw blades. The set contains an ultra fine finish crosscut blade with 80 teeth and two fine finish crosscut and rip blades, one with 60 teeth and the other with 40 teeth. All three blades are 250mm in diameter with a 30mm bore diameter, they have a plate width of 2.2mm and a kerf of 3.2mm. The set is rated amongst the finest in the industry.
Ultra Fine Finish Crosscut Blade
The 80T blade will achieve an ultra-fine finish without chipping and tear out, when crosscutting veneer plywood, particle board, laminates, composites and solid woods. The saw blade has Hi-ATB (high alternate top bevel) teeth which are angled across the top edge, with every other tooth leaning in the opposite direction. The steep 38° bevel angle combined with a -2° face hook results in a negative rake tooth geometry that shears the wood fibres cleanly using a planing motion, leaving exceptionally clean cuts through both top and bottom surfaces.
Fine Finish Crosscut & Rip Blades
The 60T and 40T blades are designed for both rip and crosscutting and will achieve a fine finish without feathering on hardwood, softwood, particle board and composite sheets. The blades have ATB (alternate top bevel) teeth which are angled across the top edge, with every other tooth leaning in the opposite direction. The 10° bevel angle combined with 15° face hook results in a tooth geometry that allows for fast rip and crosscutting with an incredibly clean finish. The carbide tips are sandwich solder brazed with silver, copper, silver, making them impact resistant, minimising the risk of detachment.
Made from German tool steel, these saw blades are consistently rated among the finest performing blades in the woodworking industry. The steel plate is hardened to Rc44, cold rolled and then laser cut with anti-vibration technology, yielding a blade with substantial noise reduction. Each blade is tensioned and balanced to exceed the European standard for flatness, to ensure a run-out accuracy better than 0.025mm. The long-life carbide teeth are precision ground using Vollmer CNC machines which offer the highest level of accuracy, to achieve exact tooth geometry, allowing for clean, finish quality cuts of panels time after time. ©
