Belt & Disc Sander - 100mm x 203mm

This belt and disc sander will rapidly shape, sand and profile stock, leaving a fine finish on hard, soft and composite woods, whether working cross grain or end grain. The 500W high torque, maintenance-free induction motor maintains a constant speed under load and directly drives both the disc and belt, for 25% greater sanding efficiency compared to standard belt driven units. The robust steel body provides structural strength and stiffness, ensuring minimal levels of vibration during use.

The 100mm wide belt has a large sanding surface area and runs on two heavy duty steel rollers. The belt can be micro adjusted to track left or right and is quickly released and replaced using the tension locking lever. The arm of the belt can be tilted upright through 90° allowing sanding to be carried out in vertical mode. The cast aluminium worktable measures 190mm x 160mm and can be tilted through 45°, locked in position using the graduated scale.

The 203mm sanding disc is primarily used when shaping corners, outside curves and working on end grain. The disc is made of 5mm thick aluminium plate, which will not flex under pressure and accepts self-adhesive sanding discs. The large sanding worktable measures 190mm x 160mm, offering substantial workpiece support, and can be locked-off from 0 to 45°. The supplied mitre gauge has a graduated scale of +/- 60°, and when used in conjunction with the either worktable, allows for sanding bevels, mitres and compound mitres. 

Two 37mm dust ports ensure that dust can be drawn directly from both belt and disc at the source, enhancing the finish of the workpiece. Supplied with one 80 grit sanding belt and one 80 grit sanding disc. ©
