Brushless Cordless 18V Circular Saw - 165mm

The Rutlands® cordless 18V 165mm circular saw with 18V, 4.0Ah battery and charger features a powerful, high performance and maintenance-free brushless motor, ensuring long battery run times and maximum cuts per charge.  The thin kerf blade allows for clean, precise, feather-free cuts when ripping and crosscutting, sheet material, panels, worktops, studs and joists. Perfectly balanced in the hand, this saw is favoured by cabinet makers for fine woodworking.

The saw has a durable cast aluminium blade housing and base plate, precision machined for accuracy and positive alignment against straight edge guides, ensuring the straightest possible cut. The base plate features an easily adjusted bevel range of 50°, allowing for a 5° overcut in any out of square applications. The saw will cut to a maximum depth of 54mm at 90° and 40mm at 45°, with all adjustments made using large-handled levers which lock positively in place. The supplied 165mm 24T TCT blade will tackle the hardest and most abrasive solid and composite woods to leave instantly workable finish. With an ultra-thin kerf of 1.6mm, the blade removes less material whilst cutting, reducing power drain and allowing you to work faster and for longer.

The brushless motor features soft start technology, allowing the saw to start in a smooth, controlled manner and an electronic safety brake, stopping the blade in seconds for safer operation. The laser casts a clear projection of the line of cut and allows for quick, accurate alignment with the scribed cut line. Two ergonomically designed handles provide maximum support during use and feature a grippy non-slip coating for optimal control. A two-stage safety switch on the main handle ensures that the saw is not accidently started. A sturdy fold-out rafter hook allows the saw to be hung out of the way on rafters or saw horses, removing the need to precariously balance the saw whilst manoeuvring boards.

Supplied with the saw is a 165mm 24T TCT blade, 1 x 18V, 4.0Ah Li-ion battery, charger and straight edge guide, used to ensure clean, straight rip cuts, ideal for fine woodworking and production work. ©
