This brushless random orbital sander and dust extractor with auto start delivers dust-free sanding, capturing the finest, most harmful dust particles down to 0.3 micron. The quiet, efficient dust extractor synchronises with the sander, automatically activating as you work. The dust extractor will run for a further 5 seconds after the sander is switched off, clearing any dust left in the hose. The sander features a rear body dust port which operates on a 360° swivel fitting, allowing free movement of the sander without kinking of the dust hose. The sander's centralised extraction system, combined with the supplied net abrasive discs, allows dust-free sanding, further reducing sanding time whilst ensuring the highest quality of finish.
Brushless Random Orbit Sander - 125/150mm, 5.0mm Orbit
The brushless random orbital sander delivers maximum operator comfort with class-leading low vibration values (3.07 m/s²) and low noise (80 dB LpA). Ergonomically designed, the lightweight, low profile body allows the tool to be used for long periods without fatigue. Supplied with both 150mm and 125mm backing pads, this random orbital sander runs in a 5.0mm orbit, providing a high material removal rate whilst yielding consistent surface finishes in a range of applications.
The 350W high performance brushless motor maintains constant speed, even under heavy load, ensuring a consistent material removal rate and finish quality throughout. The motor operates between a 4,000 to 10,000rpm range, with the paddle lever allowing careful control of the speed between 4,000rpm and the current max rpm, set using the + and - buttons and LED indicators. Supplied with 4 x 150mm 220 grit net abrasive discs, 4 x 125mm 220 grit net abrasive discs, 150mm and 125mm backing pads, 4 metre removable power cable, 1.1 metre dust hose and backing pad removal key.
Dust Extractor with Auto Start
Extremely quiet in use at just 65dB, this dust extractor has four-fold dust filtration, comprising of a HEPA fleece filter bag, HEPA filter cartridge, HEPA filter basket and HEPA filter sponge, capturing dust particles down to 0.3 micron and ensuring that the air re-entering the atmosphere is clean. The 1200W motor delivers an enormous suction power of 260 mbar and features variable air-flow control, to adjust the suction to suit all floor surfaces. Supplied with a 2m highly flexible kink-proof hose, 2 x 500mm aluminium straight tubes, 300mm floor head, 100mm floor head, crevice tool, fleece filter bag and a stepped rubber adaptor to connect to the ports of power tools. The dust extractor is compact and lightweight and can be carried with one hand, including the hose and accessories, due to the onboard tool storage. ©

Excellent orbital sander. I work in a accident repair centre and use orbital sanders all day. and this is better than the 1 i use at work . It's great quality, very quiet. Loads of control settings and feels really well made. Extraction works great .replacement backing pads are a bargain .don't both with the more expensive brands you will just be wasting your money. 10/10 .
I've been looking for an orbital sander for a while .. alot of my tools are festool including my dust extractor. I kind of grudge paying for the festool orbital as I wasn't sure if I would use it all the time , so I stumbled across here . Great piece of kit , also fits my festool extractor. So happy with it and definitely would recommend
fantastic piece of kit for the money , only downside is the attachment between hoover and sander, but compared to most it's a win win
Great tool for the money. Minimal swirling, low vibration and removes material well. I trimmed the hose down on mine. Felt it was a bit in the way.
I was a little sceptical buying this sander but but impressed right from the start.
I had been looking at another make with all the same specs at 4 times the price so this Rutland sander seemed too good to be true.
How wrong I was.
Very quiet operation compared to my other sander.
Using the special sanding disks it has sped up sanding by about 60-70 percent.
The dust extraction is amazing when using the shop vac.
Previously my workshop would be full of dust and needed to open the window & door to clear it.
The vibration is very low so I can sand for much longer periods without muscle/tendon ache.
Look at the picture which shows how much dust it collected in 2 hours of use.
This is a must have if you do a lot of sanding.
