Cabinet Handle Jig

First up it is well priced for the quality you get. It is made well and with appropriate tolerances for making everything neat and tidy.

Overall operation is super simple and once set up I saved a stack of time fitting 30 handles in about an hour with it. The drill guides are tough and haven’t been worn down by the wood bit. Holding it in place with a clamp gives the best results.

Well made and robust piece of kit, should last a lifetime if treated well. Accurate and simple to use, takes all the pain out of getting repeatable, identical results when fitting handles and **** onto cabinet doors and drawers. Make your life easier and buy one of these.

This Jig arrived today and once I worked out how it went together, I used it. I had a project that required 4 handles to be put onto 4 drawers, each handle had 2 hidden screws coming in from the back of the cupboard door. I put one on a few weeks back - took ages was a real faff and definitely wasn't happy with how I finally got it on (although looks ok, can't see the issue). I worked out that I wasn't doing that again and needed to find a better way, as I needed to replicate the process 3 more times and get them all aligned to each other - there was no way that was going to happen quickly or with the results I needed without a jig!

Having bought from Rutlands before and know their products are top quality I went here first. Thought it was more than I wanted to spend so looked around, most if not all of the cheaper ones were either all plastic or some of the parts were plastic. Eventually, I came back to Rutlands - bit the bullet and I am sooo very glad I did.

The Jig came in a plastic case which I am pleased about - keeps it all together and safe till I need it again, but everything about the jig is either sturdy, well marked metal or really robust polyurethane (I think). It is made of sturdy and quality materials (as expected) and in just a couple hours I managed to work out how to use it for my project and get the final 3 cupboard handles on, aligned and in one go, no messing about. LOVE this jig - wish I had bought it years ago!!!
