Disc Sander - 305mm

With a robust, cast iron body, and an overall weight of 28kg, this heavy duty 305mm disc sander provides the mass and stability to ensure smooth and stable sanding. The powerful, yet quiet running 800W maintenance-free induction motor ensures ample power for a variety of sanding tasks, including creating outside curves, rounding over edges or for larger material removal. 

The solid cast iron main body with four rubber feet provides excellent vibration dampening, for easy operation and maximum control of the workpiece. The 417mm x 174mm cast aluminium worktable tilts through 0° - 45° and features twin locking levers for stability. Set into the worktable is a mitre track for use with the supplied mitre gauge, which can be set at any angle from 0° - 60° left and right, for sanding bevels, mitres and compound mitres.

The 305mm diameter disc is CNC machined to ensure excellent balance and smooth operation. The sander is equipped with a hand-operated safety brake which stops the disc quickly after powering off the machine. Mounted to the disc is a 60 grit self-adhesive abrasive which will make light work of sanding all hard and softwoods. The benefit of having such a large sanding disc means you can manoeuvre your workpiece side-to-side to stop it scorching. The 52mm dust port provides efficient dust extraction and direct connection to workshop vacuums or dust collectors. ©
