Being silicone free it will not mark or penetrate the workpiece. It is favoured by cabinet makers for use on tooling such as circular saw blades, router bits and spindle moulder tooling to give an improved cutting performance. To apply simply use a rag and apply pressure in a circular motion to the work surface. Made in the UK to a unique formulation this wax is supplied in an extra large 400g tin measuring 120mm diameter by 70mm depth. ©

The wax shifted a lot of oil from my cast iron drill table that was hard to shift otherwise. A second application and a polish made the table smoother to use.
Have used this on my table saw, what a difference it makes, the timber slides across with ease. Easy to use wipe one wipe off as the saying goes. No strong smells, lots in the tin, thanks Rutlands for a easy to use wax, recommend this to all.
Great type of cream for my Stanley planes ,saws disston, chisels, stored in my hanging tool chest in my man cave as little rust spots on the sole of all my planes so cleaned and rubbed on buffed off , leaving a silky smooth feel but has protection. 5 stars and will last a life time
Quite an excellent wax, easy to use and buffs up well leaving a smooth and slippery table. I should have gone for the three tins offer, will do so next time.
