Polisher and Buffer - 150mm

This polisher and buffer features a robust, heavy duty cast iron base, ensuring incredibly smooth, vibration free operation. Designed for polishing and buffing wood, metal and composite surfaces, it will bring a keen, mirror-finish edge to woodturning gouges, spindle turning tools, and other woodworking edge tools. Also used for final finishing, it will remove imperfections after sanding, bringing a high-gloss, deep lustrous sheen to turned wooden bowls, pens or any other wooden projects.

The polisher and buffer is powered by a quiet running 250W maintenance-free induction motor, running at a no load speed of 2980rpm. The extra-long, precision machined spindles are ball bearing guided, ensuring excellent balance and concentricity, and quiet operation. The spindles measure 12.7mm in diameter, with the buffing wheels locked securely in place with sturdy retaining washers and nuts. Four rubber feet on the base of the unit provide stable, non-slip support and base features two mounting holes for bolting to a workbench.

Supplied with the machine are 2 x 150mm diameter woven cotton wheels, 1 stitched (full spiral-sewn) wheel for general polishing and 1 open style (half spiral-sewn) wheel for final polishing. Use with a polishing paste or compound (not included), selected according to the material and application. ©
