The edge weighs 800g and the machined base is 10mm wide, meaning it can easily stand unaided on the machine surface while you make adjustments. The premium quality straight edge has been anodised to enhance its durability and there is a hanging hole for easy storage in the workshop. Measuring 965mm long the edge perfect for general use across a multitude of projects. There are also crisp and clear metric scales on both the front and back of the straight edge, giving the option of it being used as a rule if needed. The edge is supplied in a heavy duty cardboard tube and both ends are covered with protective polymer caps. ©

Great piece of kit, good price and arrived sharply. Just what I needed to align my planer.
A great tool—feels sturdy, is precise, and dead straight! It’s perfect for setting up and checking jointer infeed and outfeed tables making alignment a breeze.
Also looking forward to using it for planer and tool bed flatness among other uses such as checking for warped wood and levelling etc.
Really good quality and amazing value for money. Very useful for ensuring straight edges and also can be used for checking for flatness if used correctly. Helped me building a torsion table out of MDF to check the top surface was as flat as it could be.
Packaged very well in a hard card tube and the edge itself has rubber caps on each end to stop it getting scratched or chipped. The increment markings for measurements are accurate and they do not run all the way to the finished edge which is a nice touch, as pencil marks do not have ouch the markings and are easily wiped off the leading edge.
Been looking to purchase this straight edge for some time, when I saw it on offer I couldn't resist, it is 100% straight ,heavy duty clear markings for measuring ordered saturday delivered Tuesday. Brilliant
