This oscillating sander can be used hand held or can be inverted and bench mounted. Powered by a 650W high torque motor with variable speed control between 1800 and 3200rpm you can achieve super fine sanding results on curved, profiled and straight workpieces. The bobbins oscillate at a rate of 50 to 90 oscillations per minute and have a maximum sanding depth of 70mm.

The body of the sander is contoured for a positive and comfortable two handed grip and rubber non slip pads absorb vibration. It is a remarkably comfortable sander to use in the hand held mode. To bench mount the sander you simply invert the machine and insert the 2 x 'F' clamps into the body of the sander and lock the clamps on top of the bench. A rubber pad is supplied as not to indent your bench top. In bench mounted mode you have optimum control of the workpiece. For the finest finish you should connect a vacuum to the 38mm dust port.

Supplied with 4 x sanding sleeves 15mm, 20mm, 25mm and 40mm, 3 x rubber bobbins (small sleeve goes directly on the shaft), 2 x bench clamps and a rubber bench protection mat. This is a first rate sanding machine that will prove invaluable when sanding curves and profiles. ©

Great for curves

Purchased this for a project involving a lot of cutting of curves. I know from the past other sanders and hand sanding take a lot of time and effort. This does an excellent job of making the curves smooth very quickly.

I came across one tool which was a bandsaw. Great item i have to say.Have had emails from Rutland Tools. Its like being a big kid. LOL.i brought another Amazing tool. Great price and delivery bang on. I purchased the portable bobbing sander. Another Amazing tool.there is lots of items to look at or purchase. At good prices. I would have a shed full of Rutland Tools. There affordable and have Quality to them and look good as well as a great working Tools. I would purchase more tools but just not got the money for them. Anyone want to purchase my partner so I can purchase lots and lots of big boys toys. Sorry i could not sell my partner. Means the world to me

I've had a couple of items from Rutland

I've had a couple of items from Rutland now, and I've been after a oscillating bobin sander for a while. I saw this on offer a couple of times and decided to get one when it came up again. It's spot on, it mounts firmly to a bench and has a fairly basic fence. Results are good, an even finish across the surface in pretty quick time. We'll worth the money
