The Rutlands® 10 speed air filter features a newly developed and more powerful 200W motor, recycling air at a faster rate whilst removing fine dust out of the workshop's atmosphere. It features the latest advancement in filter technology which results in 98% of airborne particles of dust being filtered down to 5 micron and 86% being filtered down to 1 micron. Air in the workshop is drawn into the unit by a high power motor, that is extremely quiet in operation at 50dB to 60dB, even at maximum air flow speed. The air passes through an outer electrostatic fine filter and into the latest technology of pleated micro filters.
The air flow can be set to one of ten speeds, between 425 - 865 m³/hr, to best suit the intensity of dust in the workshop. The remote control and timer function allow you to set the length of time that the unit will continue to filter the air after you have left the workshop. With its high air flow this filtration system is designed for workshops with a room volume of approximately 150 cubic metres, which is the equivalent of a 12m long x 6m wide workshop.
The unit should ideally be positioned 2m off the ground and comes supplied with 4 mounting eyes and chains so that it can be hung from the rafters, or you can simply position the unit on a high shelf. Supplied with a remote control with batteries, electrostatic prefilter and main filter, this machine is ready to go. There is no better way to silently clean and filter your workshop environment. ©

I had a problem with my air filter (slightly older version than the one they now sell) Contacted Customer services regarding the issue, bearing in mind it was around six months out of warranty. They replied in around 12 hours with a possible problem with the circuit board. I was informed they were getting stock in shortly and that they would send one out as soon as they arrived. 4 days later a new circuit board arrived.

I frequently use a homemade router sled to prepare wind dried oak planks off my stack. This creates a lot of dust in my workshop. Whilst I can use dust extractors to pick up the worst of the dust they do little to capture the dust that is suspended in the air. I found I was frequently coughing which was starting to worry me so last week I purchased Rutlands ten speed air filter. I keep it at a low speed when I am in the workshop and turn it up to high speed when I am using the router sled. The result has been outstanding. I am not coughing any more and the air is much much cleaner. It is early days but so far it has been brilliant. Long may it last!
This is a powerful small air filter, which fits on a shelf in my workshop neatly.
Clean air in workshop. This is perfect for my garage workshop it not only looks great it’s powerful motor and 10 speeds do the job perfectly. It has made a noticeable difference to the improvement of the air quality. I intend to install it on its own shelf on its side to maximise available workshop space.
I bought this prior to a house move, and had about a fortnight for it to arrive - 2 days later it is here. When installed in my new workshop, I will post a proper product review. With service and product availability that Rutlands have, I shall return.
